We are excited and privileged to be able to offer your child Student Care for Eastmont School District students starting September 2018! Registration opens March 1st!
Program Sites: Grant & Cascade elementary schools. Cascade provides service to students enrolled in Cascade, Sterling and Lee. Grant provides service to students enrolled in Kenroy, Grant, Rock Island and Clovis.
Rates: The 2018-2019 prices that were set by the school district will be the same prices for the YMCA. If you are a member of the Y, your Student Care will be less!
Hours: The hours will remain the same as well. Before Care starts as early as 6:30am until the bus comes or bell rings. After Care starts at the bell or when the bus arrives at the site until 6pm. Summer Ed-Venture is from 7am to 6pm.
Transportation to the sites will remain with the school district.
Staff: Contracted School District Staff will be given an option to stay working for the district or to become YMCA employees. All other staff are encouraged to apply for several open positions for summer and school year! If you or someone you know is interested, please send them to wenymca.org/employment.
Program: The Student Care program will continue to be a licensed care program for grades K-5th (through 12 years of age) meeting all state, local and YMCA standards of excellence. We will use a creative, after school enrichment curriculum including STEAM activities and summer field trips!
Timeline: We are doing our best to make sure the process and paperwork for you is seamless and similar. YMCA Student Care job postings open on line February 1st. http://wenymca.org/employment
Registration for 2018-2019 academic year opens March 1st (paperwork will be on site or at the Y as well as the link below). All students currently receiving state assistance must present funding approval confirmation for Fall 2018 in order for the $40 registration fee to be waived.
Summer registration for those not currently registered for summer 2018 will open April 9th WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. Summer Ed-Venture will be a combined effort between the School District and YMCA or until the state awards the child care license to the YMCA, whichever comes first. Eastmont School District will continue to invoice registered families through Summer or until the Y is licensed.
