Wellness Coaching

Smart Start  (FREE for Y Members)                                                                

The Y offers a free opportunity for new members to work with a Smart Start trainer to establish a basic fitness program, set realistic goals, and receive instruction on the use of Fitness Center equipment. This consultation may also include an ActivTrax orientation. ActivTrax is an interactive software system that can provide a customized workout for members. Workout results are recorded at a user friendly kiosk in the fitness center, submitted from a PC or from a smart phone. ActivTrax can also provide members with access to a variety of nutrition and exercise support information. Appointments for a Smart Start can be made by our Fitness Center staff and at Membership Services.

Summer Strength Challenge  ( Y Members only)

Increase your strength by joining the Y’s Summer Strength Challenge! Beginning June 1st participants will have 12 weeks to increase their strength in the three Olympic lifts:  Bench, Squat & Deadlift.  We will post workouts and have motivational sessions lead by our personal trainers throughout the summer.  Test your final lifts at the end of August and win a super cool Summer Club tank top with your lifting achievement on the back!   This could be the 1st step of your strongest summer ever!  Sign up in May and receive a free shaker bottle. $25.00

Come Hang With Us - Suspension Training

Suspension training leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises that develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. This training session runs for 8 weeks and is designed to progress the strength and functional fitness of the entire group! 

Spring / Summer 2017 Session:  Wednesdays 4:30pm-5:15pm, beginning May 24th · Eight weeks· 45 minute sessions ·  Limited space available!

Personal Training

Personal Training is an opportunity to experience the satisfaction of setting, pursuing, and reaching realistic health objectives. Certified Personal Training Instructors help members realize the greatest benefits from their Y membership. Trainers can provide the expertise and applications for your specific needs. Additional information is available at the Membership Services Desk. One-On-One Sessions for Y members only.

One hour session: $40                 Four one hour sessions: $130

Small Group Personal Training

Small Group Personal Training allows you to have individualized attention without sacrificing the camaraderie and accountability you find in group exercise workouts.  Nationally certified Personal Training Instructors will lead a progressive workout in a small high energy session.

Eight one hour sessions: $120      Twelve one hour sessions: $145

Body Composition

A Body Composition assessment is an accurate way to calculate lean body mass and fat content. Session includes: body fat analysis through ELG or skinfold calipers. Please see a Wellness Coach if you would like additional information. Advance registration is required at the Membership Services Desk.

Cancer Survivorship Program

The Cancer Survivorship Program is a 12 week exercise, education, and group support program for people who have been treated for cancer and are trying to transition to a more active lifestyle. The Cancer Survivorship Program is a collaborative effort of Confluence Health, Central Washington University, the EASE Cancer Foundation and the Wenatchee Valley YMCA.
