STUDENT CARE AT EASTMONT
We are excited and privileged to be able to offer your child Student Care for Eastmont School District students starting September 2018! Registration opens March 1st!
Rates: The 2018-2019 prices that were set by the school district will be the same prices for the YMCA. If you are a member of the Y, your Student Care will be less!
Staff: Contracted School District Staff will be given an option to stay working for the district or to become YMCA employees. All other staff are encouraged to apply for several open positions for summer and school year! If you or someone you know is interested, please send them to wenymca.org.
Program: The Student Care program will continue to be a licensed care program for grades K-6th meeting all state, local and YMCA standards of excellence. We will use a creative, after school enrichment curriculum including STEAM activities and summer field trips!
Timeline: We are doing our best to make sure the process and paperwork for you is seamless and similar. YMCA job postings open on line February 1st. Registration for 2018-2019 academic year opens March 1st (paperwork will be on site or at the Y as well as the link below). Summer registration for those not currently registered for summer 2018 will open April 9th. Child Care Director starts May 1st. Summer Ed-Venture will be a combined effort between the School District and YMCA or until the state awards the child care license to the YMCA, whichever comes first. Eastmont School District will continue to invoice registered families through May/June.

Itty Bitty Programs
Itty Bitty Soccer will run this spring! Participants will be introduced and taught the fundamentals of the sport as well make new friends and learn how to work as a team.

This Mentor/Mentee program is designed to provide emotional, motivational, and academic support for at risk youth through a community of trained adult Mentors who are committed to their success.
- Mentees are asked to make a one year commitment
- Must be between 8-17 years of age
- Reside in the Chelan and Douglas County area
- Obtain parent/guardian permission
- Parent/Guardian must be in continual support of Program Participation
- Complete application process
- Commit to meet with mentor 6-8 hours per month
- Have fun with your mentor!
Mentors assist youth in a positive environment to establish and fulfill goals they have set for their education or vocation.
Mentees spend 6-8 hours a month with their Mentors—participating in activities such as playing sports, going to the park, or other activities the Mentee may enjoy.
Opportunity to attend group activities, such as movie night, Wenatchee Wild Games, River Rafting, etc.

Infant through 5 years old
The safety and welfare of every child in our facilities is of the utmost importance for the Y administration. To that effect, the following policy will help us protect and care for your child while they are with us.
All members under age 13 must be in a structured activity, such as After School Program, Babysitting, Youth/Teen Center, Youth Sports, Open Youth Swim, Swim Lessons, or directly supervised at all times by an adult family member, age 18 and older.
Youth ages 11 and up are permitted in the Fitness Center with direct and constant supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Youth ages 12-15 (or grades 6-9) must complete Uplift to be permitted in the Fitness Center or allowed to participate in adult Group Exercise classes without a parent or guardian.
Members 16 and older may use the Y facility and services without parental supervision.
