Financial Assistance

The Wenatchee Valley YMCA provides services to all those who need them regardless of ability to pay by setting fees at rates affordable to a majority of residents in its service area and providing financial assistance to those for whom YMCA fees are not affordable.

Youth Scholarships

No child is ever denied participation because of an inability to pay.

Youth program are subsidized and made possible through private contributions to Partners With Youth Campaign, grants, endowment earnings, and volunteer services. The Y’s Teen Outreach Initiative and Ment2B mentoring services are two examples of programs with nearly 100% funding needed to support our efforts.

Youth and Teen Scholarships are available for both membership and program fees.

  • We understand that summers are a continuum of successful youth development, therefore we want to ensure children have access to our summer camps like Lake Wenatchee YMCA Resident Camp, Summer Day Camp and Extreme Teens. If you are unable to pay the full cost of the program fee we have summer scholarships designed to help!

    1. Register for your week(s) of camp in advance to secure your spot.

    2. You will then fill out and submit the above scholarship application. Hard copies are available at Membership Services.

    3. A 30% scholarship will be awarded. If you need additional financial assistance, please indicate that on your scholarship application. You will be asked to submit additional information based on Washington’s Subsidy Guidelines for additional support.

Membership Subsides

We now offer Income Based Pricing for Membership: Income Based Pricing provides an opportunity for lower income adults and families to receive a reduced fee membership that is subsidized. Verified household income, along with the number of members in your family, allows for 20% to 40% reduction in membership fees. Stop in for an application or contact Francine@wenymca.org.
